Nickel Dropped on Supply Surplus

Financial Post reported nickel dropped on trading on Thursday on news the metal is in surplus.

As quoted in the market news:

Nickel CMNI3 traded at $19,830, from $20,075.

The global nickel market was in a supply surplus by 17,000 tonnes last year, the latest monthly bulletin from the Lisbon-based International Nickel Study Group (INSG) showed.
