LME Nickel Rises to a Four-week High

Metal Bulletin reported that during today’s official London Metal Exchange (LME) session, nickel prices rose to a four-week high on the continuation of a short-covering rally that began last week when Indonesia confirmed it will ban the export of raw materials starting in January.

Metal Bulletin reported that during today’s official London Metal Exchange (LME) session, nickel prices rose to a four-week high on the continuation of a short-covering rally that began last week when Indonesia confirmed it will ban the export of raw materials starting in January.

As quoted in the market news:

Three-month nickel settled at $13,890/95 per tonne after starting the day at $13,788. The alloying metal traded as high as $13,944 per tonne and no lower than $13,735.
