LME Nickel Hits Highest Price in Three and a Half Weeks

Metal Bulletin reported that nickel on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose to a three-and-a-half-week high yesterday.

As quoted in the market news:

Three-month nickel settled at an official price of $14,500/525 per tonne, after starting the day at $14,596 per tonne. The contract traded to an intraday high of $14,638 per tonne and traded no lower than $14,505 per tonne. Stocks of the alloying metal in LME-approved warehouses fell 132 tonnes to 269,256 tonnes.
