Reuters reports workers demanding better pay at Brazil’s Companhia Siderurgica Nacional’s (NYSE:SID,SAO:CSNA3) Casa dePedra iron ore mine went on an open-ended strike over the weekend.
The market news is quoted as saying,
CSN said the mine is operating normally and output of iron ore was unaffected but the union said participation in the stoppage was affecting output.
