Iron Road Submits Mining Lease Application, Proposal and EIA for Central Eyre
Mining Weekly reported that Iron Road (ASX:IRD) has submitted a mining lease application, a mining lease proposal and an environmental impact statement for its Central Eyre iron project in South Australia.
Mining Weekly reported that Iron Road (ASX:IRD) has submitted a mining lease application, a mining lease proposal and an environmental impact statement for its Central Eyre iron project in South Australia.
As quoted in the market news:
The mining lease application was submitted to the Department of State Development, while the EIS was submitted to the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure.
Iron Road on Friday said both documents provided comprehensive social, economic and environmental information on the Central Eyre project, along with the infrastructure required to support mining, ore processing and transport of the iron concentrate to market.
“After several years of work, including numerous field and technical studies and a full and comprehensive stakeholder engagement programme, we are thrilled to be submitting these applications to the South Australian government,” said Iron Road MD Andrew Stocks.
