NovaCopper Inc. (TSX:NCQ,NYSE:NCQ) announced that they have filed a National Instrument 43-101 technical report for the combined South Reef and Ruby Creek zones of the Bornite Project in Alaska.

Highlights

  • At the base case 1.0% copper cutoff grade, the South Reef zone is estimated to contain an Inferred Resource of 43.1 million tonnes at 2.54% copper or 2.4 billion lbs of contained copper.
  • At an elevated 2.0% copper cutoff grade, the South Reef zone is estimated to contain an Inferred Resource of 25.0 million tonnes at 3.44% copper or 1.9 billion lbs of contained copper.
  • The Bornite Project (combined South Reef and Ruby Creek zones) is now estimated to contain 179 million lbs of copper (6.8 million tonnes grading 1.19% copper) in the Indicated category and 3.3 billion lbs of copper (90.8 million tonnes grading 1.64% copper) in the Inferred category.
