CNBC reported that Newmont Mining’s quarterly profits dropped in line with decreased output at its Indonesian Mines.
As quoted in the market report:
Total copper production fell 38 percent in the quarter ended Sept. 30, while attributable gold production dropped 5 percent to 1.24 million ounces.
