Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX:LUN) announced a net income of $58.3 million in 2012 first quarter.

As quoted in the press release:
Neves-Corvo produced 16,609 tonnes of copper at a cash cost of $1.63 per pound during the quarter, which was better than expected primarily due to more tonnes milled and higher plant recoveries than planned.
Lundin Mining’s President and CEO, Paul Conibear commented:
We followed up our strong production results from the fourth quarter of 2011 with another quarter of solid performance.
