The Globe and Mail reported that on Thursday, First Quantum Minerals (TSX:FM) subsidiary Minera Panama announced that it has halted operations in Panama due to labour disruptions. First Quantum did not provide a date regarding when construction would continue, but said that it was committed to the project’s success, according to the Globe.
