Copper Value Surged 1 Percent

Reuters Africa reported that copper value surged 1 percent to close at $8,089.

As quoted in the market news:

Benchmark three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange rose more than 1 percent to close at $8,089 a tonne from a last bid of $8,000 on Friday.
