Canyon Copper Corp.(TSXV:CNC) announced the creation of a new advisory board to assist its management team. Mr.David Jenkins and Mr.John Kerr have both accepted invitations to join the board. The Company also announced two proposed drill programs at its Longshot ridge and Moonlight projects.

In late 2012, Canyon plans to drill test oxide mineralization that was identified to the north and northeast of the Longshot Ridge deposit.
