India's Tata Chemicals Suspends Di-ammonium Phosphate Production at Haldia
Tata Chemicals has suspended di-ammonium phosphate production at its Halida plant in Bengal, Business Standard reported. Tata Chemicals has suspended di-ammonium phosphate production at its Halida plant in Bengal, Business Standard reported.
As quoted in the publication:
“Due to emerging market conditions with effect from June 19, 2016, the company has decided to supply di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) to its customers from inventory in hand and imports, and consequently production of complex fertilisers, including DAP, is being temporarily suspended at Haldia, West Bengal,” said Tata Chemicals in a BSE filing on June 17, 2016. The company will continue the production of single super phosphate (SSP) from the site.
