Venture Capital Fund Invests $250M in Life Sciences Companies

5AM Venture Management, LLC (5AM) announced the closing of 5AM Ventures IV, L.P., a $250 million venture capital fund focused on the building of life science companies.
As quoted in the press release:

The capital was raised from a broad range of existing and new institutional investors including endowments, family offices, foundations, funds-of-funds and pension funds.
