Nabriva Therapeutics (NASDAQ:NBRV), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development of novel anti-infective agents to treat serious infections, with a focus on the pleuromutilin class of antibiotics, today announced its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2017 and recent corporate highlights.
As quoted in the press release:
“We achieved a significant milestone in our clinical development program for lefamulin in 2017 with the announcement of positive topline data from our first global, IV-to-oral Phase 3 clinical trial in adult patients with moderate to severe CABP, known as LEAP 1,” said Dr. Colin Broom, chief executive officer of Nabriva Therapeutics.
