WeedMD Featured in CBC News: Pot-growing Program a Boon for the Industry

Dr. Luc Duchesne, Chief Scientific Officer for WeedMD Inc. (TSXV:WMD), was quoted in CBC News’ article entitled, “Pot-growing program a boon for the industry, producers say.” The article explores a new pot-growing program offered at Dieppe community college in New Brunswick, which will train cannabis cultivation technicians to properly grow the product and in turn, reducing their training burden and helping the companies to fill job positions.
The 12-week program is a pilot project, with the provincial Liberal government announcing on Monday that it will cover the full tuition for the first group of 25 students. This is an estimated total of $70,000.
