VIQ Solutions Unveils New Secure Cloud Based SaaS Workflow, Wins Contract with UK Nursing and Midwifery Council Using Amazon S3 Platform

VIQ’s secure content management enables customers to connect easily to servers in the cloud, instead of fixed servers or server farms, reducing hardware and management costs. Digital audio, video and associated data captured through any VIQ capture solution, including smartphones, is automatically routed to the cloud server for secure central storage and authorized access.
To ensure maximum customer choice, VIQ has partnered with leading global cloud providers including Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Amazon S3. The VIQ workflow is also compatible with private cloud solutions.
The entire workflow, from capture to storage, is provided to customers for a contracted fixed monthly fee, with additional charges depending on bandwidth usage and storage requirements.

VIQ Solutions also announced today that their exclusive UK partner, Brahler ICS UK Limited (“Brahler”), has won a tender with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (“NMC”) of the United Kingdom to use the new VIQ cloud services solution.
The innovative workflow will see audio and associated digital files captured in the NMC’s multiple interview rooms automatically streamed to the Amazon S3 cloud for secure storage and authorized access.
