INDIVA (TSXV:NDVA) was featured in an article by TG Daily regarding their involvement with the Streetlight E-Recycling Program, a program dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for at-risk youth. Currently, INDIVA is expanding their 10,000-square-foot cultivation facility in London, Ontario and partnered with Streetlight to ensure that any of the waste created from their site was removed properly and safely, while also supporting the at-risk youth in London.
So far, Streetlight has completed two pick ups at INDIVA’s facility and has collected four trailer loads of scrap metal. The materials were then processed by John Zubick Scrap Metals Inc. who turned those materials into $1,200, which will then be used to benefit at-risk youth in the community. INDIVA and Streetlight will continue to work together as INDIVA continues to expand their facility.
The article then went on to discuss INDIVA’s state-of-the-art environmental controls that will minimize wasted heat and energy demands in their London facility. The company will also be utilizing a revolutionary Bioroter Compost Digester that will be processing all of INDIVA’s plant waste material and convert it into compost material. INDIVA intends to donate the compost material to local farmers.
