Lack of High-tech Sector Demand Pressuring Graphite Prices

Industrial Minerals reported that prices for flake 97-percent carbon -100 mesh graphite, which is generally used by high-tech and niche industries, are more than 14 percent lower than they were at the beginning of the third quarter of this year. As quoted in the market news:

Softening demand from high-tech industries is putting pressure on the price of tech-related graphite products, which have failed to achieve anticipated price increases as the market enters Q4.
