Golden Queen Pours First Gold Bar at Soledad Mountain

Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd. (TSX:GQM,OTCQX:GQMNF) announced the pouring of the first gold bar at the Soledad Mountain gold-silver project, in which it owns a 50-percent stake. Soledad Mountain is located in California.
Robert C. Walish, Jr., COO of Golden Queen, commented:

Leaching of stacked ore has been ongoing since early February. Initial flow rates and ore porosity have been very good. We have started the Merrill-Crowe plant and are now in a position to pour doré.

Thomas M. Clay, chairman and interim CEO at the company, said:

Today we celebrate the hard work and determination of many long time supporters. The first gold pour is a remarkable milestone signifying the Company’s transition to a gold producer.
