Northern Minerals Managing Director George Bauk is pleased to provide a progress update on the Browns Range Pilot Plant Project, under construction in the East Kimberley region of WA, including the following achievements:
- Mining 65% completed and on track to be completed by end of 2017
- Bulk earthworks completed and Maca Civil demobilised
- First shipment of modular process plant equipment from Sinosteel MECC on water and due in Australia by end of October
- Construction group, Primero mobilised and first concrete poured Mining of ore at the Wolverine and Gambit West pits is 65% complete, with 117,000 tonnes of ore delivered to the ROM pad. Mining, being undertaken by MACA Mining, is on schedule for completion before the end of 2017.
