Wi-LAN and Kyocera Corp Sign Multiyear License Agreement

Wi-LAN (TSE:WIN) and Kyocera Corp. (NYSE:KYO) have signed a multiyear licence agreement.
According to the press

“We are pleased to welcome yet another world-class licensee to Wi-LAN’s growing wireless portfolio,” said Jim Skippen, Wi-LAN’s president and chief executive officer. “The signing of Kyocera to this comprehensive agreement is further validation of the value of our patent portfolio.”
Kyocera is a leading manufacturer of electronics, including telecommunications equipment.
The licence resolves litigation pending in the eastern district of Texas. The consideration to be paid to Wi-LAN and other terms of the licence agreement are confidential.
