Net Element (NASDAQ:NETE) has announced that its Unified Payments subsidiary has launched a Zero-Fee processing program for small and medium-sized businesses.
As quoted in the press release:
Zero Pay is the first and only cash discount program available on mobile point-of-sale (“mPOS”). Zero-Fee or “no cost” processing is a solution where credit card processing fees are passed to customers automatically at the point of sale. A service fee is applied to all non-cash sales no matter how the payment is processed: credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, checks, etc.
Unified Payments makes it easy for its merchants to start saving with three easy steps:
1. Download the Unified mPOS application for Apple iOS, Android Google Play or sign-up Online
2. Get approval email
3. Login and Start Processing
Qualified merchants will receive a free EMV-ready reader compatible with most smartphone devices and tablets.
“Now merchants have the freedom to control their processing costs in a way not traditionally available over other popular mobile POS products and solutions,” commented Vlad Sadovskiy, President of Integrated Payments for Net Element. “Accepting payments with a mobile device has become the new norm for SMBs.”
