Xactware, subsidiary of Verisk (NASDAQ:VRSK) announced that it has launched XactwareRemodel GO app that helps estimate remodeling jobs. Xactware, a company that has a pricing database for over 10,000 items, rapidly applies its cost information to XactwareRemodel GO.
As quoted in the press release:
“Accurately assessing the scope of a job is extremely critical, and contractors can lose work or leave money on the table when they aren’t estimating effectively,” said David Obert, Xactware’s vice president of Property Solutions. “XactRemodel GO completely reimagines the estimating process by simplifying workflows and eliminating a lot of tedious work. It helps remodelers spend less time estimating and more time doing what they do best: turning homeowners’ dreams into reality.”
To build an estimate in XactRemodel GO, estimators start a new project and begin adding job line items. Bidding can be streamlined with a Quick Estimate feature that allows remodelers to rapidly estimate a full project from a smart template. Once the estimate is complete, XactRemodel GO generates a professional bid that remodelers can send to their clients directly from the app. XactRemodel GO also helps remodelers track the status of their estimates.
