Gaming Nation Subsidiary Partners with the Astros Foundation
5050 Central Ltd., a subsidiary of Gaming Nation Inc. (TSXV:FAN), has partnered with the Astros Foundation.
5050 Central Ltd., a subsidiary of Gaming Nation Inc. (TSXV:FAN), has partnered with the Astros Foundation.
According to the press release:
The partnership will see the Astros Foundation operate 5050 Central’s industry-leading real-time electronic 50/50 raffle system, now possible in the state of Texas. Voters approved legislation in November, 2015, that authorized professional sports teams’ charitable foundations to run charitable raffles.
Proceeds from each Houston Astros home game at Minute Maid Park will benefit the Astros Foundation, which seeks to harness the passion of baseball fans to support youth baseball and softball programs serving at-risk children and teens.
“The Astros Foundation is proud to partner with 5050 Central to launch the Share2Care 50/50 raffle,” said Twila Carter, executive director of the Astros Foundation. “At every home game, Astros fans will have the opportunity to support the foundation’s charitable efforts in the community. We are excited for the potential and look forward to working with 5050 Central.”
Raffle tickets can be purchased through fixed touch-screen terminals and mobile devices, providing faster transaction times, longer selling periods, accountability and substantial increases in average raffle proceeds.
