AMD is presenting a multi-year sponsorship with Scuderia Ferrari with the two parties announcing the deal ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix that happened on Sunday, April 15. The deal would see AMD technology being made available to Ferrari and the AMD logos would be present on the nose of the SF71H F1 as well as the arm of pit-crew overall and also the official trucks.

At the Chinese Grand Prix, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen finished third while four time world champion Sebastian Vettel finished 8th.

As quoted in the press release:

“The AMD passion for high-performance computing products perfectly matches with Scuderia Ferrari’s dedication to high-performance racing leadership,” said John Taylor, chief marketing officer at AMD. “Scuderia Ferrari is a world-class innovator and brand. We are excited to partner with them in linking our high-performance brands to accelerate the strong momentum around our products.”
