Micron Waste Technologies On Their Leading Cannabis Waste Treatment System

Micron Waste Technologies (CSE:MWM) has been profiled in an article published by CannabisFN (CFN) Media Group for their recently developed innovative waste-treatment technology that can mitigate the environmental threats of the burgeoning legal cannabis industry.
“As the Canadian government inches closer to full legalization of adult-use cannabis, the details involved in the regulation of all aspects of the industry are raising additional questions that had not previously been widely considered. “ With that in mind, the proper methods for cannabis waste disposal are being studied by the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry (AGFO). The committee believes that the volume of (legal) cannabis waste is going to dramatically increase over the next few years and “the government is trying to get ahead of the challenge of how to properly dispose of tons of stalks and trimmings produced by the legal industry.”
A leading innovator in organic waste management, the company has already produced solutions to handle organic waste generated by food distributors and had been eyeing the cannabis industry as a potentially lucrative opportunity. And in January 2018, Micron Waste Technologies announced a “groundbreaking collaboration with Aurora Cannabis Inc., one of Canada’s leading licensed producers.”
“The company appears to have a solution to a problem that is much larger than people anticipated.”, concludes the article.
