American Manganese Profiled on E-Scrap News

American Manganese Inc (TSXV:AMY; PINKS:AMYZF;FRANK:2AM) was profiled on E-Scrap News, a publication dedicated to technology recycling. The article focused on battery recycling and highlighted American Manganese’s proprietary hydrometallurgical process used specifically for that purpose.
The author also discussed the company’s background, and how it stumbled upon the process for targeting cathode materials from lithium-ion batteries.
“American Manganese is employing a process that allows recovery of all those different battery chemistries, Reaugh said. Its technique is a hydrometallurgical process similar to what is found in a mining circuit, he explained. It uses thickeners, tanks and pumps, to separate the metals contained in the cathode.” The process has been extremely successful at releasing the materials from the cathode.
