Zadar Ventures Ltd. (TSXV:ZAD,FWB:ZAV) commenced the summer exploration program on its PNE Uranium Project, located in the Patterson Lake area of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. Data garnered from this first phase PNE exploration program will be used to start the permitting process towards follow up ground and airborne geophysical surveys and subsequent diamond drilling.
As quoted in the press release:
The inaugural 2013 uranium exploration program is designed to be a reconnaissance/orientation program targeting boulder prospecting/sampling, ground-based geophyscal (scintillometer) surveys and a first pass Alpha-Track Uranium Services radon cup survey. The program will follow up and identify the probable source of historically reported boulders with elevated to anomalous uranium and boron contents (pathfinders for uranium deposits) that have been reported on-property. In specific the southern portions of the PNE Uranium Property will be targeted as previous work has identified undrilled MEGATEM anomalies in these areas. (see Saskatchewan Mineral Assessment Database (SMAD) 74F-0016). In conjunction with the boulder prospecting surveys, surface sampling for Radon gas, a product of uranium decay, will also be utilized to identify subsurface radioactive anomalies.
