‘Gustav’ has oscillated between being categorized as a tropical storm and a hurricane, and is expected to reach the Louisiana coast by early Tuesday. Tom Hartmann, a commodity analyst at Altavest Worldwide Trading Inc. discussed the impact of the storm on gold investment. “If the hurricane does head into the Gulf and cause damage, that would definitely support gold”.
