    The TSX Venture Exchange fell just under 17 points to hit 667.91. That’s its lowest level ever, according to Business News Network. Amber Kanwar noted that the Exchange has lost roughly 30 percent this year so far.

    TSX Markets president Kevin Cowan told BNN:

    We all have to keep in mind that the Venture Exchange is a very unique exchange that is designed for early stage speculative companies and because of that it’s very susceptible to cyclical swings.
