Syrah Resources Ltd. (ASX:SYR) released its half-year report for the period ended December 31, 2013, commenting that it reached a number of major milestones. Those include advancing the JORC resource status for Balama West’s Ativa Zone to measured resource.
Others include:
December saw the final hole completed in the resource definition drilling programme. Resource reclassification was finalized on the Ativa Zone and had commenced on the Balama East and Mualia Zone in the first quarter of 2014.
The work programme in Tanzania continued with systematic auger sampling across the Tanga South licences. The programme helped to delineate areas of interest for future focused work. Syrah has been approached by some interested companies in regard to its heavy mineral sand properties and will assess these options in 2014.
