Trevali Mining Corporation(TSX:TV) announced that it has received its Mining Lease for the Halfmile Mine, northern New Brunswick. The lease is valid initially for a twenty year period.
As quoted in the press release:
Production from the Halfmile Mine is anticipated to commence imminently as underground development has been progressing very well into the Upper Zone of the Halfmile Deposit. Additionally Trevali has given notice to Xstrata Zinc Canada’s Brunswick 12 Processing Mill and Concentrate Complex to expect delivery of feed over the upcoming weeks.
