Tahoe Increases Escobar Estimates and Plans Expansion

Mining Weekly reported that Tahoe Resources (TSX:THO) said it has increased the silver resources at its Guatemala-based Escobar project.

As quoted in the market news:

The new National Instrument 43-101-compliant resource estimate and an independent preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for its fully owned project brought the silver ounces of the resource to a total of 91% in the indicated category, despite the grade falling by 16% when compared with previous estimates.
