As quoted in the press release:
The silver concentrate was obtained by bulk flotation of sulphides using standard flotation reagents and standard procedures. Silver is present within an assemblage of lead, zinc and copper sulphides.
Soltoro’s President and CEO, Andrew Thomson said:
The positive metallurgical results provided by Hazen confirm our view that the newly discovered high grade silver Soledad ore shoots are amenable to conventional metallurgical treatment to provide a high grade silver concentrate with excellent recoveries.
