Silvore Fox Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SFX) announced the appointment of Andrew Lee Smith, B.Sc., P.Geo., as a director of the Corporation; bringing the total number of Board members to six.

Silvore Fox Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SFX) announced the appointment of Andrew Lee Smith, B.Sc., P.Geo., as a director of the Corporation; bringing the total number of Board members to six.

The press release is quoted as saying:

Mr. Smith is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Canaco Resource Inc. (TSXV:CAN) and a Director and Co-Founder of True North Gems (TSXV:TGX). Mr. Smith has over 20 years of experience in exploring, developing and operating North American base and precious metal mining and gem projects. While working with Aurizon Mines Ltd., between 1985 and 1998, Mr. Smith rose from a supervisory role to becoming the Vice-President of exploration. He was awarded the ‘1994 Mining Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ from the Quebec Prospector’s Association for his work overseeing the exploration and development of the Beaufor Gold Project and also received in 2009 a ‘Distinguished Alumni’ Award from the University of Waterloo, Faculty of Science.
