Spot silver rose $0.01 to hit $22.24 an ounce today, Reuters reported.
Overall, silver prices have fallen 27 percent this year, according to Bloomberg. However, prices for the white metal could come back from the lowest levels seen since September 2010 and hit $25 an ounce.
Technical analyst Axel Rudolph of Commerzbank told Bloomberg that silver prices ended higher than the previous week and said he believes “another up leg should be made in the near future” for silver.
