Spot silver prices gained $0.11, hitting $22.49 an ounce this morning. That was the first rise since the white metal dropped to two-and-a-half-year lows earlier this week, Reuters reported.
Silver futures for July delivery on the COMEX in New York also increased today, reaching $22.48 an ounce — that’s an increase of $0.02.
Like gold, the white metal has reacted positively to news that the US Federal Reserve may call for sustained stimulus, Bloomberg reported.
