Silver Rises to $20.28 per Ounce on Weak Equities

Silver rose $0.02, or 0.1 percent, to a price of $20.28 an ounce today, according to Reuters.
The white metal’s rise comes as hedge funds and money managers continue to invest in gold and silver futures and options for the third consecutive week. Weak equities have pushed funds to include precious metals, said Reuters, reporting on data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
