At the end of last week, Mineweb’s Lawrence Williams published an article in which he discusses silver’s recent gains, noting that the white metal recently soared 13 percent in just a few days.
While that’s encouraging, he cautioned that it’s tough to predict what the silver price will do. That said, he sees it following gold:
Undoubtedly some of the cream will have been due to short covering, but the movement does suggest that should there be a significant upwards move in the gold price, as some technical analysts suggest, then the potential for a much more dramatic rise in silver is very much with us.
