Silver Mountain Wraps Up 2012 Drilling and Geochemical Sampling

Silver Mountain Mines Inc. (TSXV:SMM) announced that it has finished its 2012 geochemistry sampling and drill programs at its Ptarmigan property, commenting that it made 45 diamond drill holes. Results have yet to be reported.

Silver Mountain Mines Inc. (TSXV:SMM) announced that it has finished this year’s geochemistry sampling and drill programs at its Ptarmigan property, commenting that it made 45 diamond drill holes. Results have yet to be reported.

As quoted in the press release:

Previous drilling, by Silver Mountain, between 2009 and 2011, identified both polymetallic veins and manto style mineralization. The 2012 drill program was intended to develop mineralized intercepts from preceding programs into mineralized zones. A total of 21 drill holes were completed in the area of the Ptarmigan Mine workings, which includes historical development comprised of the Level 1, Adit #2 and Adit 3# workings. The remaining 24 drill holes were drilled in the East and Upper Ptarmigan Zones.
