Silver Hits Six-Week High

Bloomberg reported that silver futures reached a six-week high in Friday trading as the dollar fell, and investors flocked to precious metals.

As quoted in the market report:

Silver futures for March delivery gained 2.3 percent to $34.206 an ounce. Earlier, the price reached $34.25, the highest since Oct. 11.
