Silver prices hit a near two-month high of $21.32 an ounce today.

Silver prices hit a near two-month high of $21.32 an ounce today, Reuters reported. Later in the session, the metal fell slightly, to $21.26 an ounce, but was still up $0.76 from the previous session.

The white metal was impacted by the rise in the dollar today. The currency hit a seven-week low last week, but bounced back 0.4 percent today, said Reuters.

Bloomberg reported that silver, along with gold, has increased for a fourth day, causing precious metals producers to edge higher in the market.
