Silver Companies Up on Thursday

The Street reported that some silver companies are up in New York on Thursday’s midday trading session.

As quoted in the market release:

Hecla Mining Co. rose $.16 or 3.0 percent, to $5.42.

Pan American Silver Corp. rose $.03 or .2 percent, to $17.41.

Silver Standard Resources Inc. rose $1.04 or 7.4 percent, to $15.05.

Silver Wheaton rose $.06 or .2 percent, to $34.25.
