Orvana Resources Has Green Light to Begin Construction of Copperweld Mine

Platts reported that Orvana Resources has received the final necessary approval to begin construction on its proposed Copperweld mine in Michigan.

As quoted in the market report:

Copperweld will be the first mine developed in the US by Orvana. The proposed mine site is the former White Pine mine, once one of the largest copper producers in the US.
