Hunt Mining Announces Key Personnel for Martha Project Production
Hunt Mining Corp. (TSXV:HMX) is pleased to announce two additions to the Company’s management team; both of whom formerly worked with Coeur Argentina at the Mina Martha Project, 100% owned by Hunt.
Hunt Mining Corp. (TSXV:HMX) is pleased to announce two additions to the Company’s management team; both of whom formerly worked with Coeur Argentina at the Mina Martha Project, 100% owned by Hunt.
Mr. Nelson Sepulveda returns as Superintendent of the Martha Project for laboratory and plant management; similar to the role he held when the Martha Project was in full operation under its previous owner, Coeur Mining. Mr. Sepulveda worked for Coeur Mining for 14 years, including 8 with Coeur Argentina SRL as Plant Superintendent at the Martha Project. Mr. Sepulveda was instrumental in the mill feasibility, construction and startup at the Martha Project.
Mr. Sepulveda holds a Mining Technical degree from State Technical University, School of Mines of Copiapó, Chile and a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from State Technical University in Santiago, Chile. In addition to his many years of mining work in South America, Mr. Sepulveda has also been employed by other companies in Alaska and Mexico; and has more than 40 years of combined Chemical Analysis and Metallurgical Engineering experience.
Mr. Oscar Orosco has been named Operations Manager for Cerro Cazador, responsible for Plant and Mine Operations at the Martha Project; similar to his role when employed by Coeur Mining at the Martha Project. Cerro Cazador is Hunt’s wholly owned subsidiary.
Mr. Orosco has held several positions including Mine Manager and Superintendent; most recently was Underground Mine Manager at Mina Casposo in San Juan. He worked 4 years for Coeur Argentina as Manager and Superintendent of Mining, transferring to Mina San Bartolome in Bolivia where he was in charge of the Geology department. Previously, Mr. Orosco worked at Hochschild’s San Jose mine as Superintendent of Geology.
Mr. Orosco holds degrees in Mining Management, Geological Sciences and Technical Mining from Austral University, National University of San Juan and Domingo F. Sarmiento Esc Industrial respectively.
Leon Hardy, Director of Mining and Chief Operations Officer for Hunt commented; “Hunt Mining continues to build on our existing strength of highly qualified personnel. Securing the skills and experience of these two leaders that were involved with the Martha Project, while in its peak operation, significantly adds to our team of seasoned professionals, as we prepare for production in late 2016.”
