Fresnillo On Target for Silver Output

Mining Weekly reported that Fresnillo (LSE:FRES) was on target with its first quarter silver production.

As quoted in the market news:

The Mexico-focused miner produced 9.8-million ounces of silver during the quarter, including the Silverstream contract. It stated that production was on target despite a decrease of 2.9% when compared with the same quarter in 2011.
