Fresnillo Hits Three-Month Low on Falling Silver Prices, UBS Downgrade

Bloomberg reported that the world`s main silver producer, Fresnillo PLC`s stock price plummeted to a three-month low on falling silver prices and a UBS AG rating downgrade.

As quoted in the market report:

Fresnillo declined by as much as 5.4 percent, the steepest intraday drop since Sept. 26 and the biggest slide on the benchmark FTSE 100 Index of U.K. shares. Silver prices weakened by as much as 2.7 percent to the lowest since Aug. 22.
