Mining Weekly reported that Cobar Resources has warned shareholders that it will not meet production targets this year of 2.5-million ounces because of lower-grade ore.
As quoted in the market report:
CCR said in a statement on Monday that the lower-grade ore arose from two sources: medium-grade run-of-mine stockpiles where the grade in the stockpile had been overestimated, and lower-than-expected grade ore from the Boundary pit, at the Wonawinta project, in New South Wales.
