Xstrata/Amplats SA Mine Shaft Reopened After Fatality

Mineweb reported Xstrata (AIM:XTA) said its Mototolo platinum mine is back to full production after a temporary shutdown due to a fatality.

As quoted in the market news,

Global miner Xstrata said on Wednesday it had reopened a shaft of its Mototolo platinum mine in South Africa which was shut following a fatality last week.

The mine is run as a joint venture with Anglo American Platinum.
