Northam Platinum Ltd. this month said it plans to sell 2 billion rand ($248 million) of bonds and Aquarius Platinum Ltd. said it will consider more funding if it goes ahead with an acquisition. Lonmin plc last month said its examining increasing borrowing and a unit of Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. said it may require more money.
